I’ve been a gardener and professional photographer making and selling handmade note cards, calendars and other paper creations with my artwork since the 1980s. For part of that time, I was an adjunct professor of photography at the County College of Morris and my handcrafted note cards were featured and sold in Barney’s NYC, National Museum of Women in the Arts, Longwood Gardens, New York Botanic Garden gift shop and lovely, independent shops along the eastern seaboard.

Running a wholesale business became "too much" so I shifted my focus to other freelance photography and writing. My gardening column has appeared twice monthly in the New Jersey Herald newspaper since the 1990s and I was the staff photographer and Communications Associate at Greenwood Gardens in Short Hills, NJ from 2017 - 2021
